# Limitations

This v1 result describes only the pinned run in Chrome/151.0.7922.108; macOS 26.5.1 (25F80); Mac17,4. It does not establish scheduler guarantees or cover every browser, mobile device, hidden/background tab, closed tab, sleep/wake cycle, server clock, hardware class, long-duration workload, audio onset, notification delivery, legal timing or safety-critical use. A deadline-based calculation can correct the remaining value only after JavaScript gets another callback opportunity. `Date.now()` can move with the system clock; `performance.now()` is used only as the within-run monotonic reference.
